Kicking off at the Milwaukee Summerfest on June 28, the tour will cross the country and last through early September.
Buckcherry frontman Josh Todd says of the tour, "You’re gonna get your money's worth on this one, the Gen X Summer tour is gonna be one to remember for sure. I love these bands. We all came out around the same time exploding onto the scene with great summertime hits and an awesome live show...let's get wild and loose!"
Sonny Sandoval from P.O.D. chimes in, "This is the good vibes, rock and roll tour of the summer. A bunch of friends hitting the road together and playing music we love for more friends across the states.”
Lit bassist Kevin Baldes adds, “We’re super excited to tour with our long time friends and colleagues of 20+ years this summer. It’s going to be a real hoot, to say the least!”
Alien Ant Farm guitarist Terry Corso concludes, “[The] Gen X Tour is gonna be one for the books! All Cali bands, all old buddies from the office, who could ask for more right? Except maybe a few thousand American rock and roll fans cruising out to the show to party and receive what we deliver.”

Nashville, TN ~ March 19, 2018 ~ Today, platinum-selling “My Own Worst Enemy” rockers-gone-country Lit premiere the music video for their new single “Good Problem To Have” on CMT Music channel and CMT.com. The video will spin every other hour for 24 hours beginning at 6:00am EST. “Good Problem To Have” is featured on Lit’s forthcoming debut Country-infused album, THESE ARE THE DAYS, releasing wide this spring. The song serves as the follow-up to the lead single, “Fast.”
Fans can watch the video for “Good Problem To Have” now on CMT.com HERE.
Directed by Justin Nolan Key, who has directed videos for artists including Sam Hunt and Maren Morris, the video was shot at Four Aces Movie Ranch, outside of Los Angeles. The concept and all styling for the video was inspired by Filthy Mouth Creative, who also brought in the lead couple to star in the video, Dani and Marlon.
“A friend of ours in Vegas has an awesome photography company called Filthy Mouth Creative. All of her stuff has this sexy, vintage desert vibe. Cheap motel colors and expired film or Polaroid textures,” shares Jeremy Popoff, lead guitarist of Lit. “We wanted the video to feel like that. When we described it to Justin, he was like, ‘That’s exactly what I was thinking!’”
“Justin found the location and we all freaked out. It was so rad-looking. It’s actually where they filmed the John Cusack movie, IDENTITY,” shares Popoff. “Justin was awesome to work with. He pulled off a 2-day shoot in about 10 hours.”
Fittingly, the video also features cameos from rocker Butch Walker and MTV Television personality Johnny Bananas. Cameos have become a common theme in Lit’s videos over the years, with former appearances made by Pamela Anderson, Dee Snider and Blink 182, to name a few.
“Butch and Bananas are old buddies of ours. We were so stoked that they happened to even be in California that day and were able to be a part of it,” says Popoff. “We’ve been pretty lucky with cameos in our videos over the years!”
"Let's see, video shoot with some of my best and dearest friends in the desert? With Filthy Mouth Creative involved? And I get to play a creepy auto mechanic? I was made for this,” adds Butch Walker. “I was excited when I heard the song for the first time because I thought it was one of the best songs they've put out in a while.”
“Good Problem To Have” was co-written by hit songwriters Corey Crowder, Cale Dodds, Michael Hobby and Neil Mason, who happen to be good friends of the band. Crowder, who also produced THESE ARE THE DAYS, has contributed his songwriting prowess to several other tracks on the album.
